A rich life with less stuff | The Minimalists | TEDxWhitefish

No laptop tech available today guys - SO we we are doing our assignment post viewing ol'school. On paper!

Class Discussion THEN

ParagraphAssignment

Question: How can our lives be better with less?

Paragraph answer pls.

Required - Full sentences/5 min sentences.

Students - Think about what stood out to you from the Ted Talk.

E.g. What

are the benefits of downsizing or having less STUFF in your

life? These can be points for some of your middle sentences in

your paragraph.

NOTES: Students - Please take on the grammar updates that I have recently

provided you via Teams > re: our prior Assignments.

E.g.

1. Restate the paragraph question in your opening (in your

own words)

2. Have your 2-3 sentences/ideas/reasons (life is better with less) in the middle of your paragraph.

3. Provide your closing statement - usually a restate again of the

paragraph question with your summative

thoughts at the end.

If you do not have lined paper there is some at the front of the

room for you on the shelves in a cardboard box OR borrow from

a friend.

Extra pencils can be signed out from the teacher (put your name

under the star on the board).

Tiny 'lend' pencils available in the yogurt container on the

teacher's desk.

STUDENTS - EDIT YOUR WORK BEFORE handing it in!

ONLY hand in your best work to the

TTOC before end of class. I will be meeting with you individually

to review your work and provide you with a mark for this assignment later on this week.
